The client set a task to rebrand an existing brand of a catering outlet, more specifically to turn an existing Asian cafe brand into a premium pan-Asian restaurant brand. To start the work, the client filled out a brief and provided the logo before the redesign.

We offer a modern interpretation of Asian culture within the brand identity of Papaya. To emphasize the brand's new premium direction, the signature style is built on minimalism with recognizable Asian accents. We have selected minimalist, grotesque fonts and created interesting compositional solutions with them. We have also chosen a font for accents in the form of Japanese characters. Papaya's izakaya bar style looks fresh, trendy, stylish, while still retaining its traditional Asian essence.
